We noticed that a small but significant number of the young people with whom we work had been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. In trying to find them specialized support we were unable to access this locally.

In partnership with The National Autistic Society we are now able to deliver a ‘Work Preparation Programme’ for young people on the autism spectrum. Where we explore Verbal and Non Verbal Communication, Emotion Management, What is Asperger syndrome and Job Finding Skills.

Our staff member who delivers the Work Preparation Programme has over 10 years experience in this field of work.
