The Mobile Project is currently undergoing redevelopment.  The project used to consist of a double decker bus which we converted in to a mobile youth Drop-in. This could be used anywhere in Perthshire. It had been used very effectively in housing estates within the city over a number of years.

It has also been used in smaller rural towns and communities providing a youth facility where there is little or no regular youth provision. In some of these communities it has led to regular youth work being established and even in some cases to communities taking on full time youth workers of their own. We are always keen to support communities in using the Mobile as a stepping stone to their own regular youth provision.

The project is currently switching vehicles from a Double Decker bus to a single decker city bus.  The newly refurbished Mobile Youth facility will soon be on the road again in Auchterarder where local young people are involved in the refurbishment.
