Have a look at some of our previous projects. They are retired now but we still would like to remember everything we have done for young people.
Our Previous Work
For three years from the spring of 2012 Perth and District YMCA ran its Living Balance programme aimed at supporting disadvantaged young people who were showing signs of disengagement from education and training who were at risk of becoming unemployed and remaining out of work.
Perth and District YMCA worked to change the attitudes and opinions of young people aged ten to eighteen when it came to drugs and alcohol. We worked within youth groups across Perth, Aberfeldy and Comrie to have a lasting impact on young people’s attitudes towards drug abuse and alcohol misuse.
Your Time existed to support young people aged 17-25 into sustained employment. Improving the employability of young people is something that we have prided ourselves on for many years. This project worked with a variety of young people but had a particular focus on helping young people with a background of offending.
